With Independent Apartment Living, you'll experience the wonderful peace of mind of true Life Care – knowing that should you ever require residential or nursing center care for any length of time, it is available within the community. Both Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Care are offered with no entrance or endowment fee, and experienced counselors can help you coordinate a financial assistance package. Nursing care in the Meyer Care Center is now Medicaid Certified.

Assisted Living

We are proud to offer a 35 bed Assisted Living care unit where we offer a program for those who require a degree of assistance to maintain their independence. This wing features an elegant central dining room and access to a beautiful courtyard. Those who need help with such day-to-day activities such as bathing, dressing, preparing meals, and taking medication can continue to live independently in a lovely private or semi-private room.

Assisted Living provides an ideal alternative for those who are finding that living independently is burdensome or no longer physically practical. With Assisted Living, qualified assistance is available 24 hours a day – whenever you need or want it!

Nursing Care

For those who require full nursing care, there is none better than the Meyer Care Center and our skilled/ICF nursing unit. Here a caring, experienced staff offers our resident the highest quality care in comfortable surroundings. Whether for short-term recuperation or for a longer stay, be assured that you have found care second to none.

Life Care is included in the entry fee. Life Care allows John Knox Village East residents to move into the care center, if necessary, at the same fee the resident is paying per month at John Knox Village East. The monthly fees are subject to annual reviews and may increase to the cost of living expense.
