Life Care living is carefree living! Life care retirement allows you the freedom to live independently in your private apartment, and to do all the things you have put off doing - traveling, reading, crafting, visiting, volunteering, or just enjoying life, while our professional, full time staff mows the grass, trims the shrubs, and rakes the leaves. Three meals a day are served in our beautiful dining room at a nominal charge.

How can I become a resident?

John Knox Village East is available to residents who meet the following requirements:

• being 62 years of age
• completing a medical examination that determines they can live independently
• their finances are such they can afford to pay an endowment entry fee and then a monthly service fee

How much does living at John Knox Village East cost?

Life Care retirement is for those who meet the entrance requirements, and desire the comfortable, attractive lifestyle this community has to offer. John Knox Village East is comprised of 150 apartments ranging in size from approximately 360 square feet to nearly 1265 square feet. Studio, efficiency, and one and two bedroom apartments are available with over a dozen floor plans available. Studio or one bedroom apartments are also available for lease, with all the amenities that living at John Knox Village East offers, except Life Care. One must come to tour the Community and the apartments to be able to visualize what we have to offer.

These fees are based solely upon the size of the apartment chosen by the resident. Qualified residents and their guests have the full use of the John Knox Village East facilities. John Knox residents also qualify for Life Care in the Meyer Care Center should they ever need it.
